Northern California Peace Officer Association
Established in 1934


The Northern California Peace Officers Association (NCPOA) is comprised of active and retired members of local, state and federal law enforcement, public safety, probation and correctional agencies.

In addition to the social benefit to our members, our primary mission is to provide scholarships to Criminal Justice Majors enrolled at California State University, Sacramento.

Since establishing a scholarship fund, over $250,000 in scholarship monies have been awarded to well over two hundred deserving Criminal Justice majors.


The NCPOA is a Nonprofit Organization


The Northern California Peace Officers Association is a not for profit tax exempt corporation registered in California under IRS Code 501(c)(7). Tax ID #94-2523550.

The Northern California Peace Officers Association Scholarship Fund is a not for profit tax exempt corporation registered in California under IRS Code 501(c)(3). Tax ID #27-4822850

Scholarships

Scholarships are awarded to students enrolled in the Criminal Justice Program during their junior or senior year at California State University, Sacramento.  

Monthly Events

The NCPOA hosts ten luncheons per year on the third Thursday of the month, with law enforcement agencies throughout the Sacramento Region as well as attend other regional events and functions.
